Activities for Babies &
Toddlers
Swim Lessons for Babies, Toddlers, Children.
Also known as Parent Child Swim Lessons where Swim Safety is introduced while allowing the child to acclimate to the water.

Beginners Swim Lessons.
Beginners swim lessons, teaching basic water safety, breathing, floating and limited assisted swimming for ages 8-10yo.
Playgroup for ages 6 months to 3 years.
Children & Parents have an opportunity for free play where they practice tactile, fine & gross motor skills.

Family Swim.
Family pool time is for all swimming abilities. Children under age 8 must be accompanied and supervised in the water by an adult (age 18+). Co-ed; max (40)
Adult Water Activities

Aqua Aerobics
Low-impact aerobic exercise as a cardio workout performed in the pool. $7/class; seniors/$5Discount 14 visit punch card available at Curtis Hall for purchase by check or money order only. Cost $65 adults $50 seniors. **NO CASH ACCEPTED**

Family Swim
Family pool time is for all swimming abilities. Children under age 8 must be accompanied and supervised in the water by an adult (age 18+). Co-ed; max (40)

Senior Lap Swim
Lap swim for seniors who are able to swim the entire length of the pool (25yds) without a flotation device. Co-ed; ages 55+. Max (6) swimmers per session.

Senior Open Swim
Recreational pool time for seniors of all swimming abilities. The pool is reserved for seniors 55+yo. Co-ed; max (40)

Adult Lap Swim
Lap swim for individuals who are able to swim the entire length of the pool (25yds) without a flotation device. Co-ed; ages 13+. Max (6) swimmers per session.

Lifeguard Institute - Training Program
Young Adults must be at least 16yo or over to enroll. Training to become a certified lifeguard with accreditations including First Aid, CPR and AED. Certified by the American Red Cross
Activities in the Gymnasium
Pickleball
Introduction to Pickleball with basic instructions and applied during game time. Pickleball is a paddleball sport (similar to a racquet sport) that combines elements of badminton, table tennis(ping pong), and tennis.

Batting Cage Time
Practice Baseball or Softball Batting Skills by using a pitching machine with safety equipment
JP Dads Basketball
Men of all skill levels engage in a game of pickup basketball (various times and days of the week)
Gym (Open Access Times)
Men of all skill levels engage in a game of pickup basketball (times and days of week varies)

Indoor Track (Open Access Times)
Opportunity for pre-registrants to walk or run on the track as a form of exercise to improve health & fitness. Approximately 22x laps around = 1mi.

Curtis Hall Women's/Femme Basketball/Open Gym 18yo+
Women, non-binary, genderqueer, trans & gender nonconforming 18yo+ of all skill levels engage in basketball.

This course provides a solid foundation in basic computer concepts and the essentials of hardware, software, operating systems, the internet, and more. in addition, it teaches how to explore the web, use search engines, work with email, etc.

Unstructured gym time where the teens are allowed to shoot around and participate in a game of pickup basketball (times and days of week varies).

Is a full-body, cardio and aerobic exercise achieved through dancing to Latin and international music with dance moves designed to improve your health and boost your metabolism. Face coverings are required.

Swim Team
For youth ages 8-16 yrs old and must be able to swim 25 yards without stopping. Also, they must be able to keep their head above water (tread water) for 60 seconds without touching the bottom of the pool (deep end test)

Pre-Swim Team
For youth who didn’t pass the tryouts and need to work on their swim skills to get ready for the next year’s Swim Team

Youth Basketball League
Coed youth teams ages 8-12yo practice skills & run drills to improve for the Basketball League Games played on Saturdays.

Pee Wee Beginners Basketball
Coed Pee Wee youth teams learn the fundamentals of basketball by learning basic skills & drills, dribbling, passing & shooting and working as a team.

Youth Intro to Computer Science for Kids
Youth learn the basics of coding using the program SCRATCH developed by UMass
Youth Computer Technology Programs
DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY Intro to Photoshop
Learn about digital photography from instructor-led activities and hands-on experience.

Learn about spelling, typing, strategy, and time management through fun and engaging games you’ll love to play.

Youth learn the basics of coding using the program SCRATCH developed by UMass. Learn about computer coding through interactive, hands-on online activities that also promote problem-solving and creativity.

Our computing center is available to youth of all age groups after school to do homework.
